Fingers of Orange

Fingers of Orange

The rain finally stopped yesterday so I made the most of it by taking a lovely walk in the woods, and I just couldn’t resist taking a picture of these beautiful leaves. What an awesome colour! It took me a while to work out what they were but I believe they are actually oak leaves although not the normal ‘common or garden’ oak. I think this is the pin oak, but whatever they are, I think they are lovely and well worth a picture 🙂 !

There is so much to photograph at this time of the year as the leaves gradually turn, fungi pop up everywhere, fruits of the forest fall onto the ground and so on. You really need to keep your eyes open for the little interesting things or you could easily walk right by and miss them. I just wonder at the amazing things that nature produces.

There are more pics to follow from this walk 🙂 !

Thanks for stopping by and reading my ramblings, and I hope you enjoy exploring with me.

Until next time,
