A shot taken from today’s walk.
It’s been a funny day, some beautiful sunshine and some very heavy showers, but at least when you are in the woods, you have nature’s umbrella over you…….until the wind blows and you get soaked all over again 🙂 ! The light was delightful as I rounded a bend and came across this tree with foliage picked out by a brief spell of weak sunshine. It is an ordinary shot…….but of an extraordinary subject; I never could resist trees and I just feel ‘connected’ when I am in the woods. There is such a peace there. The autumn colours will soon be upon us but for now, there is still plenty of green to enjoy.
