Its strange what catches your eye when you are out walking. On a recent walk I spotted this leaf that had blown off the tree and somehow had become tangled in these dead stalks. I often think I must be odd to notice these things but to me, it was just ‘art in nature’! I know it would be easy to set this up but the whole point is that nature and the elements did this and that makes it special. As I’ve said before, there is so much beauty in decay – just a dead leaf and some dead stalks but together they make a masterpiece of art.

Nature is amazing and there is so much to see in our countryside. All you have to do is keep your eyes open!
Thanks for stopping by.

Beautiful – and of course, there is still life there, waiting for the right time.
Thanks Val 🙂 And you are absolutely right.
I too notice small details such as your lovely leaf. It helps if you are a photographer (amateur or professionl) I think.
That’s very true. Someone once said that one of the personal benefits of blogging is that it makes you more observant, and I think that is true too.
