In Search of Bluebells – a North Dorset Walk

Woodland Shadows
In Search of Bluebells

This is the second of my video walks 🙂 ! I set out on Thursday for a great 15 mile walk in the Ashmore and Compton Abbas areas of North Dorset, partly because I knew there was a lovely bluebell woods with a lot of beech trees in it. As previously, the video was shot using an iPhone 6+ mainly because the quality of video is good when compared to the size of the phone and of course the weight.

There is a link to the video here – In Search of Bluebells – a North Dorset Walk.

The walk took in not only bluebell woods but old coppice woods, two villages, an airfield, lots of open downland with amazing views, and lots more. It was a beautifully sunny day although quite breezy so I had to protect the microphone as much as possible in order to avoid spoiling the sound. For the most part I think I succeeded. I put the video together using iMovie and overlaid it in places with some music.

Do click on the link above which will take you to the video on YouTube and walk the route with me. It really was a lovely day’s walking.

As you will know, I am a stills photographer and shooting video is new to me so please do let me have any feedback you have.

I really hope you enjoy this film of a lovely walk in a beautiful part of Dorset.

Thanks for visiting.

Until next time,
